Summer to mid-October, when foliage is at its peak, you can't beat this place.

Regal looking decor of the main ballroom and bridal suite are second to none. Bride and groom stay in the adjacent hotel as bonus. Appropriate for medium/large weddings on the first floor and smaller celebrations on their third floor. Most spacious cocktail hour area is on the second floor. Perfect for any season, especially in colder months. Brides reported some issues with management.

Family owned and operated, this venue is sprawled over the hill with a pond, which also serves as a site for ceremonies. Plenty of space, covered and uncovered for the guests to enjoy. The family does a fantastic job taking care of the guests, maintaining the property and enormous plants throughout, however the nature of the venue built on a hill might be an issue for those with physical restrictions. The bridal suite is small. The catering company for this venue provides unbelievably delicious buffet style comfort food. Perfect for small to medium wedding size and those with appreciation for a homey ambiance.

The grounds for the ceremony are immaculate and give an intimate feel, the bridal suite is one of the biggest. Huge parking lot and ballroom can accommodate medium/large weddings. Where Duo shines brightly is in their hospitality and catering by 2Shea Catering.

Tom Nicchi goes out of his way to ensure perfection of a day for his brides and grooms. Stationed in a former bank building in the historic downtown Albany financial district, the venue can easily accommodate medium to large weddings. Some of the bonus points are a grand piano player during a cocktail hour, and an antique car offered by Tom for his couples for pictures and transport. The food will never disappoint, and the staff is skillful and efficient. The bridal suite is large and inviting, with a large window overseeing a cocktail hour.

A smaller room can hold a small wedding or a cocktail hour, a large ballroom with fireplace holds a large wedding. Outdoor space available for ceremonies, or for guests' pleasure. Efficient and friendly staff, delicious in house prepared food. Secluded from outside world, Birch Hill is a little oases.
